It feels good to finally release a full-length project of original songs. Its been a long time coming that's for sure.

After releasing "The Me, Myself & I EP" back in 2010, I eventually started working on songs that would hopefully develop into a full LP. By August 2011, I finished the demos for "The Becoming" and had plans to release it 11/11/11. That date was obviously pushed back, due to the songs not reaching their full potential.

By early 2012, I was not able to finish working on the project due mostly to some "technical difficulties". I was ready to scrap it and even began working on something completely fresh. I ended up having a change of heart and did what was necessary to make this project complete.

2013 has arrived and so has the project! It's been a long journey, but also a learning experience for me. These recording sessions have allowed me to find myself as an artist, songwriter and producer. Those reasons alone motivated me to go through with releasing this. I have plans to release more solo projects and this is an important piece of my development (hence the title of the project).
